Helin (19) was born in Banyumas, Central Java, on February 2, 2000. Her father is a chicken farmer with an estimated income of 700,000 IDR/month. Her mother is a housewife, but she helps her husband out from time to time. Helin also helps her father by bringing the chicken food to the farm. With the low income, it would be difficult for her parents to provide for her school’s expenses. Fortunately, she got a scholarship from the government to attend school until graduating from high school. When she graduated, she wanted to attend university but her family could not afford it. Moreover, her younger sister still attends school and also needs money for school fees. When she found out about BaliWISe, she saw it as a valuable opportunity to learn and experience new things, and also a means to get a decent job. She hopes she can work as a front office or admin in the future once she graduates from Bali WISE.
