Ni Ketut Ayu Sutriningsih (19) is the eighth child from a family of thirteen children in Karangasem, Bali. Her father works as a farmer and feeding livestock such as cows, goats and pigs is a part of their daily routine. She has lived in a child social welfare center or orphanage in order to continue her education until vocational high school. In her family, the first four children are married, the fifth and twelfth sibling deceased, the sixth and seventh siblings are in college with the help of scholarships, the tenth, eleventh and thirteenth siblings are currently in elementary school. Most of the siblings lived in a child social welfare to get a better education, and seven of them are currently in the same institution. Ms Sutriningsih likes to do sports, in particular, tolakpeluru(shot put) and has won the district level champion. She said she was proud to be able to buy a helmet with her own money, and a gold necklace with the tips she received from the guests. The child social welfare institution she is in provided her with education opportunities and the calculated monthly income she received from her father, brother and sister are IDR 700.000 per month. She knew BaliWISE through socializing in the orphanage and is interested in Spa. She wants to join the BaliWISE program to help her other siblings to get better education opportunities.
