Ni Luh Gede Leoni Sahayani

May 4, 2016 By

Ni Luh Gede Leoni Sahayani, Leoni is the second child of four siblings. She comes from Subagan Karangasem. Her Dad works as a day laborer in Gatsu Denpasar with the income of less than Rp850,000 per month, her mother sometimes receives orders to make “Banten” (Banten is from leaves, flowers, fruits, and holy water. Generaly in Bali they use that as a tool to worship God and to express thanks to God.).

Leoni enjoys snorkeling and hiking. Starting from her hobby of guiding guests to snorkeling, she earns money that helped her to pay for her school tuition. Also that is how she studied her English.

From her first year of Senior High School, she joined the Carolia Foundation. Her School fees when she was in high school was paid by the foundation. Leoni has achieved a lot during school, she was always the best student in each semester. There are several obstacles that she had to face to achieve her success for example when she was not able to attend a contest because she didn’t have money for the transportation. Above all, Leoni has a dream to work in Dubai or Turkey as a SPA Therapist.

A quote that motivates her is “Dream your dreams at night and achieve it in the morning”.
