Rani comes from Singaraja, Bali. She is 21 years old. Rani is the daughter of a farmer with unstable income of around IDR 500,000.00 per month. Rani has six siblings and she is the smallest. Some of her older siblings work as a farmer, and do some work at a billboard company. Rani felt that she doesn’t have any skill and couldn’t get a well paid job. She joined Bali WISE so she could the right skills and education for hospitality and tourism industry. Rani is trying her hardest to study English and Culinary, so she can be a chefat a 5 star hotel. Rani is shy and doesn’t socialize very much at first, but with time she becomes more open and studies hard for her future.

Yosefina Novita Fai

Yosefina comes from Flores, she’s the daughter of a farmer with an unstable income, around IDR 30,000.00 or IDR 50,000.00 per day. Yosefina has 5 older siblings, of which three are working but cannot help much with the family financial situation. When Yosefina at home, she always helps her mom do chores and sometimes follows her father to help around the field. After she graduatesfrom Bali WISE, she wants to work as an administration staff and to continue her studies to university. After she’s saved enough money, she wants to open her own business. Yosefina wants to be better person and to be more successful than her older siblings.

Monnica Starlet

Monnica came from West Jakarta, she has four younger siblings. Her father is 54 years old and her mother has passed away. Her father is a private employee with a minimum income. As the oldest child, Monnica helps her father by selling things online, she could help her family earn up to IDR 3,000,000.00. Living in a big city with 6 mouths to feed is a struggle. Monnica really wants to work as soon as possible so she could be the backbone of her family, pay for her younger siblings school fees and to open her own business. When Monnica was browsing the internet, she found Bali WISE Skilled Education Program and immediately applied for the scholarship. Monnica is one of the smartest students in her class and can lead her friends very well. After graduating from Bali WISE, she wants to work as an administration staff while opening her own business.

Ni Kadek Eviani

Eviani comes from Karangasem, Bali. She is the daughter of a labour worker with a monthly incomes of IDR 400,000.00. Eviani is 18 years old and she is the second child of three. Evi’s older sibling has married and her younger sibling is still in school. Evi could continue her study through high school with the help of Carolia Charity Foundation, who paid all of her school fees until she’s graduated. After graduating from high school, Evi could not get a good paying job because she lives in the village and doesn’t have many skills. She joined Bali WISE so she could work and help her family’s financial situation. Evi wants to work as a Spa Therapist in a 5 star hotel once she graduates from Bali WISE.

Jesica Asri Raisa

Asri is 20 years old, she came from Flores. She used to work as a waitress with a monthly salary of IDR 455,000.00 per month. Her father and mother are farmers, and she has three siblings who are still in school. Her family income is IDR 1,000,000.00 per month, including Asri’s salary. Asri wants to get a better job with a better salary, that’s why she joined Bali WISE Skilled Education Program. Asri is hardworking and willing to work through day and night to help her family, even if it’s only for a small amount. Asri loves tourism, in the future, she wants to open her own culinary business and tour and travel in her city. She realized that her city has a lot of potential and she’s confident that after she graduated from Bali WISE, she could make that dreamcome true.
