Coming from Bondalem, Buleleng North Bali, Juni is the first child of three siblings. Her father is the only one who makes the living for the family. He is the freelance builder who only works when he is needed. He has the side job as a fruit sorter and seller in the traditional market, or offer a carry service to get more earning. He makes less than IDR 1 million/month. Juni’s mother is a housewife who takes care of the kids and the family. She sometimes supports the living by sewing and earns IDR 2.500 per cloth.
During her school days, Juni made her own money to help her parents paying her school fees or the pocket money. When she was in middle school, she did some help in her aunt’s house by sweeping and cleaning the tools that her aunt’s use for her fish business. She continued to work until she was graduate from the high school. Regardless of her family condition, she keeps her dream high. She wants to be a successful woman with a good job. She is all interested to pursue her career in hospitality and Bali WISE gives her a new hope.
