Bali WISE Basic Education Class | Intake 41 – Week 1 | Computer training | Fri, 5th July 2019 – Teacher: NCNU & Asus Team.
As part of their curriculum, Bali WISE students had computer training with volunteers from National Chin Nan University (NCNU) and Asus Taiwan. They teach students about how to use computer software for future work purposes, use internet to find information, prepare resume and find a job. Students also improving their keyboarding skills including typing in foreign language (English). Student showed a lot of excitement once the class started and learned a lot about the technology using the computer.
The purpose of computer education is to provide students with a greater awareness of computers in their lives enabling them to hold an informed opinion of the uses of computers in whatever context they meet, because our students have not always had access to personal computers and most jobs require computer skills. The lack of basic computer skills reduces the chance of successful socialization, finding a good job, and being able to find vital information. By providing this training hopefully our students will be succeed in the future.
