Nusa Dua local police officers teach students about safe driving each term. Road Traffic Safety and Teenagers issues workshop were divided into 3 sections, the first section discussed safety driving which includes rules for drivers, pedestrian and how to drive safely. The next session discussed Juvenile Delinquency. According to the legal dictionary, Juvenile Delinquency is the participation by a minor child, usually between the ages of 10 and 17, in illegal behavior or activities. Juvenile Delinquency is also used to refer to children who exhibit a persistent behavior of mischievousness or disobedience, to be considered out of parental control, becoming subject to illegal action by the court system. Students were explained about the internal and external factors and how to prevent it. The last session discussed about drug misused. They discussed types of drugs in common, what causes drugs misused and addiction and how drug addiction is treated. The students gained more knowledge about it, they become more aware of themselves and stay away from drugs. At the end of the workshop, all Police Officers brought the notes to the students to be thankful for what they have and say no to drugs and keep safety on the street.
