Bali WISE Welcomes New Students: Orientation for Intake 56

Bali WISE embraced the dawn of January 10, 2024, with the commencement of an orientation ceremony, marking the beginning of a transformative journey for the incoming students of Intake 56. It would be becoming a highlight for the students as a significant milestone in the students’ Bali WISE experience.

Introduction to R.O.L.E. Foundation and its Program 

Before the orientation officially began, new students were immersed in the ethos of R.O.L.E. Foundation. The philosophy of sustainable change, empowerment, and environmental responsibility laid the foundation for the transformative journey that awaited them. It wasn’t just about education; it was about being catalysts for positive change in the world. New students were provided with an overview of the Bali WISE program, emphasizing the unique dual-focus on hospitality and digital marketing and a Zerowaste Centre program, which focusing on environmental sustainability. 

Grooming Standards and Professionalism Presentation 

Recognizing the importance of first impressions, students received insights into grooming standards, understanding how their professional identity contributes to shaping perceptions in the hospitality and digital marketing industries.During the orientation session, students were thoroughly briefed about the general rules applicable within the Bali WISE project. This crucial segment aimed to provide new members with a comprehensive understanding of the guidelines and expectations that shape the learning environment.

Dreambook and Team-Building Activities 

The Dreambook session is a transformative exercise where students convert their dreams and aspirations into tangible form. Armed with pens and paper, they embark on a journey of self-discovery, visualizing their goals throughout their academic journey at Bali WISE and beyond graduation. After the dreambook session, the students will engage  in teamwork through group activities led by Bali WISE staff. Challenges not only build a friendship but also test problem-solving skills and symbolizing the collaborative spirit. 

In summary, the orientation for Intake 56 at Bali WISE on January 10, 2024, laid the foundation for a transformative educational journey. Students were not only introduced to the academic aspects of the program but also immersed in the values of empowerment, sustainability, and community collaboration that define the essence of Bali WISE.
