On August 7th, 2025, Intake 62 students participated in a workshop that covered disaster preparedness. This workshop was held since the location of the Bali WISE campus is in Nusa Dua which lies near the coast and is at higher risk of natural disaster. Therefore this workshop aimed to provide the students with essential knowledge, as well as providing them with hands-on skills to protect themselves from harm.

Turning Awareness Into Action

This workshop was facilitated by Ms. Tya, HR Manager of Bali WISE. Ms.Tya covered key topics such as, the causes of earthquakes and tsunamis, identifying early warning signs, evacuation steps, and essentials for an emergency kit. Students were also trained in evacuation drills and role-playing scenarios, where they practiced guiding others to safety in a composed and efficient way. These interactive exercises were designed to ensure that students are not just informed but also physically and mentally prepared to act during real-life emergencies, whether on campus or during their future internships.

Prepared Minds, Safe Futures

This training plays a vital role in enhancing students’ preparedness before they start their three-month internship program beyond building individual confidence, this activity encouraged the students’ teamwork and strong sense of responsibility in the time of crisis Through initiatives like this, Bali WISE reinforces its dedication to nurturing confident, knowledgeable, and resilient young women who are ready to face both professional challenges and real-world emergencies.
