After overcoming obstacles and persevering through 183 days of dedicated study and rigorous training, 29 outstanding students from Intake 65 officially graduated from the Bali WISE program on September 26, 2026. Held at the ZeroWaste Center (ZWC), students and staff gathered to celebrate this remarkable milestone with a warm, sweet, and beautiful garden party. An overwhelming atmosphere of closeness and sisterhood radiated throughout the venue, guiding a hopeful new beginning as these courageous young women prepared to navigate the real world independently.
Commemorating Six Months of Growth and Achievement
The event began promptly at 4:30 PM as the Intake 65 graduates arrived at the ZeroWaste Center venue, stepping directly into personal and group photo sessions before being guided to their designated seats. Executive Director Ms. Fena and COO Mr. Rama opened the ceremony with welcoming speeches, extending warm congratulations and uplifting wishes to the graduates. The emotional highlight of the afternoon followed with the presentation of certificates to each student. A sense of deep emotion filled the air as every student received proof of her relentless struggle over the past six months, demonstrating how far they had persevered with outstanding results. Highlighting this success, 16 students had already secured full time employment prior to graduation day.
Following the certificate presentation, student representative Saybia took the stage to deliver a moving speech on behalf of her class. She recounted her personal journey alongside the shared struggles of her peers, expressing deep gratitude for the transformation they experienced through the program. The stage then turned to honoring individual excellence as Putri Fajariah was officially announced as the Best Student for Intake 65. Bali WISE deeply appreciates Putri for her hard work, continuous effort, and inspiring dedication, which she demonstrated not only for herself but for everyone around her.
As the sun began to set, attendees gathered for a memorable farewell video displaying a nostalgic flashback of the students’ journey, from their orientation days to the moments leading up to graduation. Tears and smiles lit up their faces as they watched these precious memories unfold. The formal ceremony concluded with the signature Bali WISE Good Wish ritual, where everyone shared prayers for future hopes and dreams, followed by a passionate performance of the Bali WISE anthem, “I Know the Longer Way.” Everyone sang with conviction, celebrating the hardships they had overcome and the success they now hold in their hands.
A Night of Fellowship and Heartfelt Gratitude
As night fell over the ZeroWaste Center, the garden party atmosphere grew even warmer as students and staff sat down together to enjoy a delicious feast. Laughter, jokes, and lively conversations filled the air during this cherished meal as one big family. The evening then transitioned into an open stage session, where students freely expressed their joy through music and dancing. This milestone marks not an end to their journey, but a bright beginning for the next chapter of their lives. Bali WISE feels immensely proud and grateful to have served as a life-changing chapter that transformed the mindsets of these remarkable young women.
