Bali WISE Intake 61 Students, Performs CPR.

 

As part of its ongoing commitment to safety preparedness and student empowerment, on May 21st, 2025, Bali WISE conducted a FAT or First Aid Training workshop led by First Medic, a reputable organization specializing in emergency medical training. This training is designed to equip students with the necessary life-saving skills to handle emergency situations safely and effectively.

 

Bridging The Gaps : From Theory to Practice

 

dr. Darwin, First Medic Medical Trainer, gave a brief explanation about First Aid Training.

 

The First Aid Training was conducted by dr. Darwin and Ms. Desi. Lasted for three hours, the workshop combined both theoretical lessons and practical hands-on training. Students learned essential first aid techniques, like how to tend minor wounds, including choking rescue methods, and how to do CPR correctly demonstrated by the First Medic Team. This training is a crucial part of Bali WISE’s commitment to safety preparedness, ensuring students are ready to respond in emergencies.

Students actively participated throughout the session, asking questions and practicing techniques. Renava, a Bali WISE Student Intake 61, shared, “The first aid training delivered by dr. Darwin was a very beneficial workshop on how to handle emergency situations when someone needs first aid. He also emphasized the importance of assessing the safety of the environment before providing assistance. Overall, the workshop was very fun and insightful for us, Thank you First Medic for sharing this valuable life-saving skills”.
