July 12, 2018 By //  by roledmin Leave a Comment

On Thursday, June 28, 2018, Bali WISE held “Beach Training” program. The training was located in Seminyak Beach. It is regularly joined by the Bali WISE students and the Coca-Cola’s beach cleaners. This program aims to train the beach cleaners to utilize the scattered trash around the beach. At first, the students took part in explaining about the waste management and recycling program. Next, the students were divided into 2 groups along with the beach cleaners. Each group designed and made some useful stuff from the trash. The first group made bird cage and bag from used cardboard. Meanwhile, the second group made ashtray, trash bin and frames from used cans, newspapers and plastic bottles. At the end of training, each group presented their creation and used them for the next training enhancement.
