Student orientation is more than just an introduction; it’s a roadmap for success. As students embark on this exciting chapter of their lives, a well-designed orientation program ensures they have the knowledge, tools, and support they need to navigate the complexities of college life. Thus, On 11 October 2023, Bali WISE conducts an orientation in welcoming the new students from throughout Indonesia. By having this comprehensive orientation, it allows the students to embrace the chance to explore new fields of study, meet diverse individuals and engage with the new activities in Bali WISE.
The Gateway of Bali WISE Life : Introduction to the Program and Activity.
During orientation, the students are introduced to the program that they will have for 6 months. Firstly, the orientation is started by the introduction of R.O.L.E. Foundation including Bali WISE and Zerowaste Centre program, this session assists the new students to become familiar with the campus, connecting them with each other including the staffs and other students, then the second highlight is exploring Bali WISE hospitality and digital marketing program which led by the staff and other student representatives, which is also important to the students in seizing the new opportunities in Bali WISE.
Building a Support Network : Outdoor Games for Engaging New Family
The journey is not about academics, but it’s also about building relationships and creating a support network. Thus, after the introduction of a program, all new students are being challenged to experience an outdoor games, the students are divided into some groups which encourages them to working togethers to overcome challenges that they get, teaching valuable lessons in communication, problem-solving, and the importance of relying on one another. After all activities are done, the announcement of best participant is informed, in this intake, there is Maura Ivi Santoso as awarded with as the best orientation participant.
