On February 12, 2026, the students of Intake 64 participated in a comprehensive disaster preparedness workshop held at the Bali WISE campus. Due to its location in Nusa Dua, an area particularly susceptible to coastal hazards, the campus prioritized this training to ensure that every student is equipped with the practical emergency response skills and situational awareness necessary to stay safe during a crisis.

From Theory to Practical Simulation

The session was led by Mr. Putra, the HR of Bali WISE, who shared vital insights on navigating natural disasters. He walked the students through the science behind earthquakes and tsunamis, emphasizing how to recognize the subtle warning signs of an impending event and the importance of maintaining a ready-to-go emergency kit. By blending classroom learning with these practical simulations, the workshop guaranteed that students left not just with information, but with the confidence to manage real-life crises effectively.

Developing Resilience Beyond the Classroom

This training significantly bolstered the students’ readiness as they prepare to begin their three-month internships. Beyond increasing individual confidence, the session fostered essential teamwork and a shared sense of responsibility in crisis situations. Through proactive programs like this, Bali WISE reaffirms its commitment to developing resilient, capable young women who are prepared to navigate both professional challenges and real-world emergencies with composure.
