For this reason, on August 9, 2025, Bali WISE held an anti-human trafficking workshop for its students of intake 62. Empowering Bali WISE students with knowledge and skills is needed to prevent this case from happening when these students have successfully graduated from Bali WISE.

Protecting Dreams, Preventing Exploitation

The workshop, led by Ms. Juli, Head of Education at Bali WISE, began with an introduction to human trafficking, supported by a powerful video testimony from a survivor who got scammed and eventually got trafficked in Cambodia. She also discussed related dangers such as online scams, fake job vacancies, and online gambling, all of which can be gateways to trafficking. Students from Intake 62 were then tasked with researching suspicious job postings and presenting their findings to the class, helping them identify red flags, understand job requirements, and avoid being misled by attractive salaries or benefits.
