On July 31st, 2025, Bali WISE was pleased to welcome Mr. Arief from Grand Hyatt Bali for a special workshop with Intake 62 students. As a learning and development manager, Mr. Arief shared his journey in the hospitality industry and offered a valuable introduction to Grand Hyatt and the broader world of hospitality. His story of personal and professional growth gave students a real-world example of how determination and passion can open doors in this dynamic field.

Learning Through Play, A Fresh Approach

What made this workshop truly stand out was Mr. Arief’s creative approach to learning. He introduced an interactive online quiz through Kahoot, designed to test and teach students about hospitality in a fun, engaging way. Laughter, focus, and excitement filled the room as students competed to answer questions correctly and quickly. This interactive format offered a refreshing break from traditional classroom-style learning, making the information more memorable and enjoyable for everyone involved.

Celebrating Knowledge and Friendly Competition

At the end of the Kahoot game, three students emerged as the top scorers and were awarded special gifts from Grand Hyatt Bali. Taking first place was Annisa Mega, a student from Intake 62, who impressed everyone by answering every question correctly from start to finish. The prizes added a fun and rewarding twist to the experience, capping off a workshop that blended education, inspiration, and excitement.
