Luh Putu Rayu Wiratih

Luh Putu Rayu Wiratih, Originally from Sawan, Buleleng. Was born on April 28, 1997. Ratih is known as a happy and persistent person. She enjoys sports such as basketball, running, and karate. Ratih is the first child of 3 siblings. Both of her parents work as a farmer with the salary of Rp. 1.000.000 for each month, which is only enough for their daily life needs and school fees.

Her daily activities after school was helping her parents find grass so that they can feed the cows beside helping her parents to clean the house. To support her familly to pay for the school tuition, she also worked as a masseur. Ratih is also active in social activities, she joined an organization in her Banjar and school. Banjar is Balinese term for their place to run social activities and ceremonies.

Ratih has a dream to be able to work abroad, take her parents around Bali and able to visit every temple in Bali.

Ratih has joined the Bali WISE program since April 2016, her hopes is to deepen her skills in the field of F & B Product. She has a quote of wisdom that motivates her and that is “Be a useful person for yourself, family, friends, community and country.”

Luh Putu Widia Iswara

Luh Putu Widia Iswara, Widia was born in Patemon, Buleleng on March 31st, 1998. Widia is a dog lover, likes to sing, dance, hiking and rock climbing. She is the fourth child out of 5 siblings. Both of her parents are farmers with the total of Rp. 1.500.000. She has achieved many success like she was 3rd place in rock climbing, 3rd place in traditional dancing, she also participated in a rock climbing contest, trail contest, cross-nature contest, environmental contest and also traditional contest.Widia feels that right now her difficulty is her family’s financial that makes it hard for her to achieve her.

Widia hopes that in the future she is able to make her parents proud and happy by being a successful person with a good job, so that she can help he family and she hopes that one day she will be able to have her own house and her own car. She knows that by joining Bali WISE she will increase her knowledge and the skills that she learned will make her one step closer to her dreams. Widia really wants to be successful and to make her parents happy is something that motivates her. The quote that motivates her is “Dream and do not be afraid to try because by trying you will get many experience and you will be able to receive your dreams.

 

Ni Putu Ari Sulasih

Ni Putu Ari Sulasih, or known as Arik was born in Sengkidu on the 1st of August 1997. She graduated from SMKN 1 Manggis and during her High School years, she won 2nd place in Pajegan and won 1st place in Traditional Balinese Dance. Arik has 5 members in her family, her mother is a house wife and her father is a farmer with a salary of Rp. 700.000 per month, because of that it is hard for her to continue her education. She is glad that she can join Bali WISE because she can continue her school and hopefully she can be a waitress in a 5 star restaurant and she can make her parents happy. Her biggest motivation is her parents because she really wants to be success so that she can make her parents happy. Her quote is “Keep having spirit even though you fail. Don’t be tired of trying and keep trying until you have reach what you wanted.”

Ni Wayan Trisna

Ni Wayan Trisna, 17 years old. She comes from Karangasem, Bali. Her father is a farmer with an income under Rp.1.000.000,- per month. She always got rank from elementary school. She knows Bali WISE from her school. She said that she likes the program of Bali WISE because it really cares about marginalized women like her. Then, she proved it by getting a lot of skills, saving, and meeting with other tribes. “It is a really great experience to be here, i can not wait to reach my dreams after graduating from here”. Her quote is “failure is the beginning of success”.  That’s also what she wants to gain in life: Success and a job in the F&B industry.

Kadek Febby Ari Yanti

Kadek Febby Ari Yanti, 18 years old. She comes from Buleleng, Bali. She has two sisters and one brother. Her parents work as constructors and their income is Rp. 2.000.000,- altogether. Her parents can’t afford it to send her to the university. She decided to join in Bali WISE program because she wants to speak English fluently and get the job after accomplishing the program and pursue her dream of being a successful woman in young age. Her motivation is to support and change the financial situation in her family. She is the leader in a student’s organization and always got a good rank in every level of education that she ever took. She always participated in academic competition such as Science Olympic, History and Geography.
