Making handmade pasta is a practical lesson that Bali WISE has performed. The class was prepared to introduce Hospitality and Life Skills to students with pasta, learn about its characteristics, and how to store and prepare it.

Promising Position in Hospitality Sector 

Gastronomic expertise is very promising in the hospitality industry. These professions call for experts in both hard and soft skills in the kitchen. Thus, Bali WISE offers the opportunity for Hospitality and Life Skills to have some practical sessions in making pastry, Western and Indonesian food, as well as the plating skill, throughout the first three months of in-class training.

Pasta Time! 

As part of the curriculum, Hospitality and Life Skills students experience hands-on experience in cooking handmade pasta.

The 3-hour session was held at the Bali WISE campus and was instructed by Mrs. Dentia. Bali WISE students were taught to process the whole pasta making from the dough to the plating of ready-consumed pasta. Students prepared Fettuccine with Pomodoro sauce and Tortellini spinach & feta with basil pesto sauce.

The Hospitality and Life Skills students will benefit significantly from this remarkable experience as they prepare for their upcoming vocational training.
