First Aid Training in Bali WISE Campus

On Wednesday, 19th of January 2022, intake 48 had a First Aid training session with BIMC Hospital Nusa Dua. Three staff of BIMC hospital came to Bali WISE to deliver the training; a doctor, a nurse, and a marketing staff. As part of the health protocol, the students did the swab antigen before the training started. Not only the students but also four staff of R.O.L.E. Foundations were tested since they attended the training. They attended the training to make sure they can take proper actions in case of emergencies in the Bali WISE campus and the ZeroWaste Center.

After the antigen swab test, the doctor explained the first training for some emergencies such as asthma, choking, seizure, bleeding, injury, fracture, and drowning. They also learned the steps of doing CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), which is a skill to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies.

The most important part is when the students performed CPR on a mannequin and first aid for choking with their partners. At the end of the session, the students and the staff have gained more knowledge and skills on handling emergencies as well as helping them to maintain the safety of people around them.
