
On 22 January 2026, Bali WISE once again partnered with Empowering Awareness to deliver a mental health awareness session for students of Intake 64. The workshop was conducted by Ms Deta and aimed to introduce students to essential conversations around mental well-being as they begin their learning journey. Coming from a wide range of personal and social backgrounds, these students benefited greatly from a session designed to be inclusive, supportive, and informative. The workshop provided not only knowledge, but also a safe and open environment for students to explore the challenges they may face.
Understanding and Strengthening Mental Well-Being

The three-hour session explored various aspects of mental wellness, including building awareness, increasing understanding, identifying early signs of emotional distress, and developing skills to support mental well-being. Students were introduced to common mental health concerns, healthy coping mechanisms, and guidance on seeking professional help when needed. This workshop was especially meaningful for Bali WISE, as it helped students acknowledge and work through past experiences and trauma, recognizing the unique journeys each student brings with them.
Growing Confidence Through Awareness

By the end of the workshop, many students expressed feeling more confident and reassured, realizing they were not alone in facing mental and emotional challenges. They left with a stronger understanding of mental health and greater awareness of issues such as stress, anxiety, and emotional regulation.
