Human trafficking remains a serious global crime that can affect anyone, anywhere, and at any time. To raise awareness and strengthen prevention efforts, Bali WISE conducted an anti-human trafficking workshop on March 5, 2026, for the students of Intake 64. With 20 students participating, the session aimed to equip them with the knowledge and practical skills needed to recognize and avoid trafficking risks after they graduate.
Learning to Recognize the Signs of Human Trafficking

The workshop was delivered by Kak Aris, who introduced the students to the realities of human trafficking and how it often begins with deceptive opportunities. The session also discussed related threats such as online scams, fake job advertisements, and other forms of fraud that can lead individuals into trafficking situations. To deepen their understanding, the students took part in an interactive activity where they analyzed suspicious job postings and shared their observations with the class. Through this exercise, they learned to identify warning signs, examine job requirements carefully, and stay cautious of offers that promise unrealistic salaries or benefits.
Strengthening Confidence for Future Careers

Through workshops like this, Bali WISE continues its commitment to empowering students with essential knowledge about human trafficking, online scams, and fraud. These topics are an important part of the program’s curriculum, designed to prepare students for real-world challenges. By increasing awareness of these risks, especially those that often target young people and women, Bali WISE helps students build a more critical, informed, and confident mindset as they move forward into their careers.
