Bali WISE Basic Education Class | Intake 42 – Week 3 | Self Defense | Wed, 23rd October 2019 – Teacher: Mr. Mega
Bali WISE students Intake 42 had self defense class for the first time. Self defense is a set of awareness, assertiveness, verbal confrontation skills, safety strategies, and physical techniques that enable someone to successfully escape, resist, and survive violent attacks. This Class helps improve physical conditioning. Physical conditioning is extremely important when it comes to self defense. The whole point we provide of self defense classes is to prepare students for any situation that may bring harm to them. Pak Mega teaches students about how to protect their boundaries, how to prevent unwanted situations from happening and how to defend themselves when needed.
Mr. Mega sets an example scenario that might happen to the women and teaches the basic strategies and techniques that need to be mastered by students. Students were very excited and enthusiastic to take turns to practice it. The class will be continued next week.
