The reason for a Fire safety training workshop is, in an emergency, students may panic due to the lack of knowledge of how to prevent fires. In the event of a fire in the hotel, restaurant, or villa, the highest priority is to get everybody out of the building as quickly, efficiently and carefully as possible. Mr. Widi teaches the students how to take action when they detect the warning signs of a fire.

First, make sure the students know where the emergency exits are so that they can safely evacuate the building in the event of a fire. Second, effectively respond, the workplace must ensure extinguishers are suitable for the purpose and of sufficient capacity for the fire risks on the premises. Third, properly use a fire extinguisher. They should know which extinguishers to use for the specific type of fire.

Everyone is responsible for preventing fires in the workplace. By practicing what to do in this type of accident, flaws in the emergency plan can be revealed and those faults can then be addressed. Practice also builds confidence and helps keep everyone calms in the event of a real fire.
