CSR Program

F&B Production Practical – Intake 37

Intake 37 students had an F&B Production practical class. In this week’s session, they had a cutting techniques lesson. They learned about 5 types of cutting techniques, specifically on potatoes which are Julienne, Brunoise, Batonnet, Paysanne, and Mirepoix. The students had their own turn to try each technique in cutting the potatoes and got scored by how perfect it turned. This class provides an important learning for the students especially those who want to focus their career in F&B Product. Have a lot of fun in learning, Girls!

CV Writing Class for Intake 36

On Friday, July 20th, 2018, Bali WISE vocat ional student s had the Application Letter and Curriculum Vitae making class. Assisted by Ms. Petra, a volunteer in Bali WISE, the students learned about arranging and making the proper resume in applying the job. At first, they collected the curriculum vitae and application letter that they made before the class. Ms. Petra then explained the mistake that frequently happened when the students make it. She then taught the students about the structure of the CV and application letter. This is to arrange the educational background and the working experience that must be arranged based on the recent one. This class is important for them because it will increase their knowledge about how to make a good CV and cover letter to attract the company or employer to hire them in the future.

Hip Hop Fun Time!

Intake 37 had a Dancing Class assisted by Ms. Anjani. At first, they did warming up then learning basic hip hop dance. They got along to the songs and moved their body enthusiastically. Next, they were divided into five groups and asked to present their own dance. They were all attentive in the class program because it gave them the new experiences, improved their health and increased their self confidence. The students had the good moment because it released all the tension and they can use their body’s movements to reflect their feelings. Keep the good move, girls!

Orientation Day for a Fresh Start

On Monday, July 9, 2018, the Intake 37 students officially started their first week studying in Bali WISE. As the starter of the whole studying, they had the Orientation Day to know everything about Bali WISE. The students were introduced to the Bali WISE staffs and volunteers. They also learned about their daily schedules as well as the rules they have to obey. After being introduced to every part of Bali WISE, the students went to Community Environment & Skills Center to have the next orientation. The students were divided into five groups and joined along to play some games. The games went fun as it involved the team work of the members. The students enjoyed the games and it ended with giving the prizes for the winners. The orientation ended with having the lice shampoo session in which all the students gave each other’s hair the lice shampoo keep away the lice living in their head. This aims to prevent the students having the problem with the lice as they will live together for the next 6 months. The final session was the students enjoyed the prizes they got from the games together. It signified the end of the Orientation Day and the students are now officially part of Bali WISE to start their study and days. Welcome girls and have a great learning in Bali WISE!

Good Bye Intake 35! Bright Future are Ahead of You!

On Saturday, July 7, 2018, the students of Bali WISE, the staff as well as teachers had a great event to recall. It was the Graduation Ceremony for the Intake 35 students. The ceremony was held at Community Environment & Skills Center. This regular event is held once in three months in which the students already passed the basic and vocational phases. The ceremony was started by the speeches delivered by Mr. Mike O’Leary as the CEO of Bali WISE by R.O.L.E Foundation and Miss Fena as the Education Coordinator. The event was continued by the handing over the graduation certificate to the graduated students. They had the congratulatory words from all the guests. Besides, some students got the additional gifts as they already got a job before they graduated from Bali WISE.. Everything went well as the representative of intake 36 showed some vocal group and speech. The last session was the after party in which the students and guests enjoyed the dinner and good time together. It was a warm and gladdens moment for both the graduated students and the guests. The students will face their future confidently and grab their dreams!
