Partina is a young woman from Bali who loves music and hospitality. She comes from a simple family background. Her father is a laborer with no steady job or income, he usually makes a chicken coop if any people order it. Her mother is a household assistant who only works if needed. Her parent is also a farm worker, they look after someone else farm, and the profits are split in half with the owner. Partina’s family does not have a permanent place of living, they live on the land that they have to handle. Because of this condition, Partina and her twin will sometimes weave cloth to meet their needs.
Despite financial struggles, Partina’s determination and academic excellence caught the attention of Carolia Charity, a foundation supporting underprivileged children’s education. With their assistance, she embarked on her educational journey and discovered the Bali WISE program. Recognizing the opportunity, Partina, after discussions with her family, decided to enroll in the program with the aspiration of honing her discipline and expanding her knowledge in tourism.
Throughout the initial three months of the basic program, Partina exhibited unwavering dedication and a positive attitude in every subject. Her interest in the SPA Department led her to an on-the-job training opportunity at a prestigious five-star hotel in Nusa Dua. Driven by her love for the sector, she excelled in her duties and was recognized as the best trainee at the hotel by the end of the training period.
Armed with newfound skills and confidence, Partina secured a position in one of the renowned SPAs in the Badung area. Now, she enjoys a stable income, not only fulfilling her dream of working in the hospitality industry but also contributing to her family’s well-being.
