Intake 48
Earlier this December, we welcomed 19 new students of intake 48 to Bali WISE campus. From a total of 19 students, eight of them are from Bali and eleven are from West Sumbawa. The orientation was held on the 6th of December 2021 and the new intake officially started on the 7th of December 2021.
The Orientation Day
The Orientation Day started from 9.00 am and lasted until 5.30 pm, and took place in both the Bali WISE campus and the ZeroWaste Center. The morning was spent in the Bali WISE campus, where they learned about R.O.L.E. Foundation, Bali WISE and its rules, the staff, and they received an introduction about what they will learn for the next six months. In the afternoon, the students moved to the ZeroWaste Center to enjoy a ZeroWaste Tour for an hour guided by the Environmental Educator.
The rest of the Orientation Day was spent on some fun games under the supervision of the Education Team, with the help of a few Vocational Training students in preparation for games. The games required teamwork, which is an important aspect for their upcoming training and also for their employment future.
At the end of the Orientation Day, the new students were more familiar with each other as well as with R.O.L.E. Foundation in general.
