Gaining hands-on experience is one of the most important learning experiences. That’s why on August 20, 2025, Bali WISE Intake 62 spent four hours on a field trip at the Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa. The students were greeted with a warm welcome that sparked an excitement from the students, eager to learn more about the hospitality industry in one of the most prestigious hotels in Bali.
Behind the Scenes, A Day of Discovery
The field trip started with an introduction to the hotel’s history and how it joined the Marriott group. The students gained valuable, hands-on experience in various departments. They learned about the food and beverage and had a chance to make their own mocktails in a mixology session. They also learned about basic massage movements from the spa and saw how a professional working environment is structured. This provided a deeper understanding of the different departments within a hotel.
By the end of the trip, the students were grateful for the chance to learn from such a prestigious hotel. They were not just taught skills but were inspired by the professionalism and hospitality of the Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa.
