Devi faced financial difficulties from a young age, which could have affected her educational goals. Nevertheless, she was determined to continue her education. She was determined to relieve her parents of any financial burden. She took a chance and applied for a scholarship with a friend in her pursuit of higher education. Fortunately, her hard work paid off, and she was able to complete her high school education thanks to a scholarship.
However, as Devi graduated from high school, the world was gripped by the throes of the COVID-19 pandemic, casting a shadow of uncertainty over her future educational endeavors. The financial constraints and uncertainties posed a daunting challenge. It was during these trying times that a relative introduced her to the Bali WISE program.
Devi had concerns about her English ability, which was required for participation in the Bali WISE program. Nonetheless, driven by her unwavering determination and unwavering desire to learn, she decided to apply. Devi worked constantly to improve her English communication skills during the selection process. Her perseverance paid off, and she was accepted as a student in the program.
The Bali WISE program introduced Devi to the fundamentals of hospitality during the initial three months of her journey. Subsequently, she embarked on an on-the-job training experience in Food and Beverage Production at a prestigious five-star hotel. Throughout the program, Devi forged lasting friendships and gained invaluable experience that would shape her future.
Devi did not rest on her laurels after graduating from the program. Instead, she looked for part-time and daily work opportunities to improve her skills and financial stability. Devi was inspired to follow in the footsteps of many of her friends who chose to work abroad. She enrolled in a Japanese language course to prepare for her overseas adventure. This endeavor was not without its difficulties, especially in terms of finances. Nonetheless, her unwavering spirit and unwavering pursuit of self-improvement triumphed.
Devi’s unbreakable spirit led her to a position at one of Japan’s most prestigious food processing companies. She has grown tall, self-sufficient, and capable of meeting her own needs. Her journey from financial adversity to professional success shows the enduring power of hard work and determination.
