Bali WISE had a special visit from ASUS Team Taiwan for 2 weeks. The purpose of their visit was to donated 12 laptops and assist in teaching the Bali WISE students the computer lesson. The volunteering was started with a tour around Environmental Education Center and were explained about natural dyes, scarf weaving with natural cotton and dyes, soap recycling, composting and seedling. After that, the volunteers had to teach Computer Lesson for Basic students, whose are currently participating in the 3-months in-house training with R.O.L.E. and Bali WISE, which is the first part of the training program. After that they will have the training placements in 3 months. Therefore, it provided the students to learn and to become human resource assets in the workplace.
On the second day, the volunteers had Exchange for Change session with Bali WISE Vocational students who are currently having their 3-months in-house training. The purpose of the session was to help Bali WISE students prepared themselves to face obstacles and challenges in work life. Besides, the students also learned about CV Writing. ASUS Team Taiwan volunteers enjoyed the session as well as the Bali WISE students.
