In the beginning of this week, Bali WISE successfully conducted its first Character Building & Leadership Orientation for Intake 49, which enhanced students’ kinship to the program, affirmed their dreams and lifted up their motivation to be a successful figure in the future.
The First Day of Their Journey to be Empowered in Bali WISE
Since Bali WISE was founded back in 2007, the first day of the program is a paramount moment. Either for the staff, the students and for Bali WISE itself. It is called Orientation Day. The day where the students get to know each other, the staff and the program they join in specific. They also get a tour in Bali WISE Campus and in the ZeroWaste Center. The day is highlighted with fun game activities to practice their teamwork.
The Orientation Day in a Whole Different Level
Now, in 2022, the Orientation Day has been improved by the new Education Team with a more impactful activity rebranded as ‘Character Building & Leadership Orientation’. The pilot project for the Intake 49 was a big success.
In this event, students had revealed their true purpose in their life using a method that awakened their deepest empathy to who and what most matters to them. This method is proven as one of the most effective team building activities in many parts of the world. It was a full-day of the foundation and hospitality’s introduction in depth, teamwork collaborative activity and closed by tears of new spirit from the students.
Reflecting the great success, this brand new ‘Character Building & Leadership Orientation’ has now become the new way for the Intakes ahead.
