On the 7th of July 2022, Bali WISE graduated sixteen Bali WISE students at the ZeroWaste Center attended by the management, graduates, instructors, and the whole students. Marking the start of another sixteen empowered women to break the poverty cycle.

One More Intake Has Completed Our Six-Month Program of Women Empowerment

Bali WISE has committed to breaking the poverty cycle by giving a free six-month hospitality and life skills training program for marginalized Indonesian women. This commitment has run for years and educated 48 Intakes – approximately 20 to 30 students each – and will continue to bring gender equality to Indonesia and break the poverty cycle.

July 2022, marked another story of the commitment. Intake 48 consists of 16 students who have successfully finished their six-month hospitality and life skills training program. The graduates were beautiful in their traditional Nusantara attire and shed tears of joy knowing that now they have the knowledge, skills, and opportunity to be a better version of themselves.

One of the Most Successful Intakes!

The graduates of Intake 48 are considered as one of the most successful intakes in Bali WISE history. Why is it so? It is a big proud to hear that 10 out of 16 students have been accepted to full-time employment in 5-star luxury properties. Meaning that 62,5% of the graduates have successfully applied the knowledge and skills that they learned from the Bali WISE program and they can help their families back in marginalized areas.

The 5-star luxury properties that they are working at now include Four Seasons Resorts at Jimbaran Bay, Alila Villas Uluwatu, Bali Garden Beach Resort, and Maldives! Inspired by this success, Bali WISE will continue its commitment to help empower more marginalized women in Indonesia and break the poverty cycle in Indonesia.
