On 30 April 2026, Bali WISE warmly welcomed the team from Paradisus by Meliá for an engaging workshop attended by intake 65. The session began with a friendly introduction, creating an open and interactive atmosphere. Following this, they introduced the students to the background and history of Paradisus by Meliá, giving insight into the brand’s values. To bring their explanation to life, they also presented a hotel tour video, allowing students to visually experience the elegance and unique offerings of the resort.
Where Creativity and Care Come Together
The workshop then shifted focus to one of the most exciting segments: the Kids Club department. The team from the Kids Club Department explained that the Kids Club plays a vital role in creating memorable family experiences, offering a safe, fun, and educational environment for children of all ages. Activities range from arts and crafts, storytelling, and cultural workshops to outdoor games and interactive learning sessions, all designed to encourage creativity and confidence. Staff members are trained not only in childcare and safety but also in communication, creativity, and emotional engagement, ensuring each child feels welcomed and valued. The team emphasized that working in the Kids Club requires energy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children, while also providing a rewarding opportunity to develop soft skills and hospitality experience in a dynamic setting.
Where Ambitions Begin to Grow
By the end of the session, many students showed strong enthusiasm for the Kids Club department, inspired by the possibilities it offers. Several expressed interest in applying for their three-month internship within the department, eager to gain hands-on experience and be part of such an interactive role. The workshop left a positive impression on the students, broadening their understanding of career paths within hospitality.
