Hotel housekeeping encompasses a wide range of operational areas and specialized duties, with the room division serving as its vital core. In professional hospitality, the room division plays an indispensable role in creating safe, pristine, and comfortable spaces where guests can relax, refresh, and thrive. Cultivating this high standard was the exact objective of our recent Housekeeping class. On August 1, 2026, 30 enthusiastic students from Intake 66 gathered at the ZWC bungalow facility to undergo hands-on training under the guidance of our experienced instructor, Mr. Putra, where they eagerly mastered the essential techniques and step-by-step procedures of a full room makeover.
Precision Cleaning and Meticulous Detailing

To ensure active participation, the students were divided into dynamic teams that rotated through different cleaning and room preparation stations across the bungalow. Their curriculum covered a comprehensive range of tasks, starting with the art of bed making. Students learned to identify various types of linens and their specific functional uses, alongside the precise sequence required to fit bed sheets, duvet covers, and accent elements flawlessly.
Beyond bed preparation, the training focused on deep cleaning techniques for the shower and restroom areas. The students practiced proper methods for polishing mirrors without leaving streaks, selecting and safely applying specialized cleaning agents for different surfaces, and polishing tableware and dining utensils to a brilliant shine. They also honed their skills in sweeping, mopping, and ensuring all glass doors and windows were left crystal clear. Throughout the session, students gained a sharp eye for detail as they learned to categorize different linens and towels while actively observing and demonstrating every instruction delivered by Mr. Putra. By systematically rotating duties, every student received valuable, direct practice across every section of the bungalow.
A Dedicated Journey Toward Professional Mastery

Throughout the entire session, every student brought remarkable enthusiasm and dedication to their practice. This hands-on training directly reflects the mission of Bali WISE to provide an empowering platform where extraordinary young women can develop world class hospitality skills, specifically in professional housekeeping operations. Supported by fully equipped training facilities and guided by expert housekeeping instructor, this session underscores our commitment to providing top tier vocational education. Equipped with these practical skills, our students who wish to pursue careers in housekeeping now hold a strong foundation to carry into their upcoming industrial internships and future professional endeavors.
