Offering the students a chance to step outside the confines of the classroom, to gain a real-world experience is an essential part for Bali WISE students. Recently, on 17th May 2023, it was such a pleasure to accompany Bali WISE students intake 53 on a remarkable field trip to Cuca Restaurant. It was not only providing a refreshing break from the regular class but also offered a valuable experience of hospitality. 

Exploring Hospitality Experience in Michelin Restaurant 

Upon arriving at the restaurant, the aroma of delectable dishes greeted the students, and firstly all of them were welcomed by Ms. Sari, an internship manager of Cuca Restaurant. In the first session, the students were informed about the history of restaurant and learned the various aspects of running a restaurant. They were warmly welcomed by the restaurant staff, who took them on a tour of the kitchen and explained the intricacies of food preparation, hygiene practices, and the importance of teamwork in a busy culinary environment.

Nourishing New Perspectives:

The students’ field trip to the restaurant proved to be an incredible learning experience. It opened their eyes to the vibrant world of food and hospitality while nurturing essential life skills. Beyond the immediate benefits, this outing ignited a passion for culinary arts, sparked curiosity, and provided a platform for personal and educational growth.
