Sunari, raised in a simple Balinese family, understood the financial strain higher education would place on her parents, who worked as fishermen with an unpredictable income. Determined to ease their burden, she discovered the Bali WISE program during her high school years.

Sunari’s three-month training as a waitress in one of Uluwatu’s finest restaurants opened her eyes to the hospitality industry. Though a permanent position wasn’t immediately available after the program, Sunari was offered an extension. Recognizing the need to explore additional avenues, she actively sought further opportunities with the unwavering support of the Bali WISE Education team.
Fortunate to secure a position as a Front Office Receptionist in a five-star hotel near Benoa before graduation, Sunari began as a daily worker, yet grateful for the chance to contribute financially to her family.
After graduation, her dedication and eagerness to excel shone. Diligently learning Front Office operations, mastering new systems, and refining her customer service skills paid off. A year later, Sunari’s hard work garnered well-deserved recognition, securing her a promotion to a staff position with a stable income.
