The activities started with a tour around the area, and students have a wise fishing game. This game is to allows students to learn about sustainable fishing. Students then learned to be marine scientists through measuring the dimensions of fishes and learning the sea population. During that course, Ibu Siti sat the students through the relations of the marine ecosystem. These includes the main threats faced by Coral reefs, marine wildlife, marine protected area, and the zoning system. Through the relation of marine ecosystem and the Hospitality Industry, students become aware of the need to maintain marine awareness, so as to protect the marine ecosystem and retain necessary provisions in our daily lives (food, medicines, and support tourism and recreational activities). The CTC concluded with several student presentations on their plan as tourism actors to keep environmental sustainability. Through this knowledge, our students can bring out the messages for everyone, including tourists, to take part in preserving coral reefs, marine ecosystem, and environment for the future.
