Week 6 | Term 1, February 2018 | Bali WISE Skills Education
Our students well being is also our top priority. In Indonesia, sex education is a taboo subject to discuss. There are more than 690,000 cases of HIV in Indonesia and only 30% of them knows of their status.
As part of our responsibility in growing the young girls into responsible and skillful adult women, we conduct HIV test and sex education for every new students and alumni who wishes to be tested again. This semester, KPA (Komisi Penanggulangan AIDS) came to get blood sample from our students and also conduct a small workshop explaining what is HIV and how to prevent it.
We hope our students can cake care of themselves and become a responsible adults. We wish to say thank you to KPA for always taking their time in supporting our program.
