Bali WISE Basic Education Class | Intake 41 – Week 4 | Self Defense | Wed, 31st July 2019 – Teacher: Pak Mega
Students had Self defense class for the first time. Self defense is a set of awareness, assertiveness, verbal confrontation skills, safety strategies, and physical techniques that enable someone to successfully escape, resist, and survive violent attacks. This class helps improve physical conditioning. Physical conditioning is extremely important when it comes to self-defense. The whole point of why we teaches self-defense classes is to prepare our students for any situation that may bring harm to them. Mr. Mega teaches students about how to protect their personal boundaries, how to prevent unwanted situations from happening and how to defend themselves when needed.
Mr. Mega sets an example scenario that might happen to the women, and teaches the basic strategies and techniques that need to be mastered by students. Students were very excited and enthusiastic take turns to practice it. The class will continue next week.
