To date, Vocational Training students of Intake 43, 44, and 45 are doing their internship at our Education Partners Cuca Restaurant, Tijili Hotel Benoa, Hyatt Regency Bali, and Westlake Resort Jogja.
Overview of the Vocational Students
With the pandemic outbreak back in March 2020, the students of Intake 43 were sent back to their homes. When Bali WISE reopened in November 2020, they could continue their training. Of the total 13 students, one student has now completed the 6-month Bali WISE Program, four students are doing their Vocational Training now, six students have passed the interview session and will start their training in June and July, one is expecting the interview result by mid-June, and one student is still waiting for the training placement, which will happen soon.
Meanwhile, the last student of Intake 44 started her Vocational Training in May. As for Intake 45, 12 students are doing their Vocational Training while one student is still waiting for the training placement.
The Bali WISE Education Partners
The Vocational Training students are doing their internship at four of our Education Partners Cuca Restaurant, Tijili Hotel Benoa, Hyatt Regency Bali, and Westlake Resort Jogja. Aside from these Education Partners, Four Seasons Jimbaran, The Apurva Kempinski Bali, Holiday Inn Resort Baruna Bali, and The Bale Nusa Dua will soon join us again.
We welcome all 5-star hospitality businesses to become our Education Partner so that these young marginalized women can gain experience by working in upmarket hospitality businesses and have an increased chance to gain quality employment after graduation.
